What is Hypnotherapy?
When many people hear the word "hypnosis," images of stage performances or loss of control often come to mind. However, in a therapeutic setting, hypnotherapy is actually a deeply safe, natural, and focused state of relaxation.
Think of the feeling when you are completely absorbed in a good book, or that "zoning out" sensation when driving home on a familiar route—this is a natural state of trance. As your therapist, I do not "control" you. Instead, I act as a guide, accompanying you into this relaxed state to bypass the defenses of the conscious mind and communicate directly with your subconscious.
