Session Length and Fees
- Individual Sessions: $200
- Couple Sessions: $300
- Sliding scale: apply if you may be eligible.
Insurance & Reimbursement
I am an out-of-network provider. This means I do not bill insurance companies directly. However, if your health insurance plan includes out-of-network benefits (which is common with PPO plans), you may be eligible to be reimbursed for a significant portion of my fee.
How It Works
- You are responsible for the full fee at the time of our session.
- I will provide you with a medical receipt called a Superbill upon request.
- You submit this Superbill to your insurance provider, and they will mail the reimbursement check directly to you.
Please note: Reimbursement rates and deductibles vary widely. To avoid unexpected costs, I strongly recommend contacting your insurance provider before our first session to verify your specific benefits.
Questions to Ask Your Insurance Provider
Please call the customer service number on the back of your insurance card and ask:
- Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
- What is my out-of-network deductible and have I met it?
- What is the reimbursement rate for CPT code 90837 (or 90834, if applicable)?
- Is a referral from my primary care physician required?
Good Faith Estimate Notice
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your medical care will cost.
- Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
- You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.
- Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item.
